You are bidding on a pair of Antique Russian Brass Shabbat
(Sabbath)
Candlesticks that were manufactured in the Tsarist Russia in 18th or early 19th century.
Candlesticks' design is typical for the period: hand-turned, very heavy construction, each resting on four feet.
Candlesticks are in very good antique condition. They are
straight, no leaning to any side, no loose parts, very sturdy. There is no manufacturer's mark which is typical of Russian brass candlesticks.
Height: 10 1/4".
Weight: 3 lb 15 oz (each)
Candlesticks are hand cleaned and polished to restore their original beauty. No additional cleaning/polishing is needed
at this time. They are ready to use or display.
