For bid is an original circa 1934-1935 Hiram Walker & Sons Inc. foldout advertising booklet with multiple cocktail and mixed drink / cordials recipes, from the alcohol company of Peoria, Illinois. Walker was a producer of CANADIAN CLUB alcoholic drinks following the repeal of prohibition in 1933. Booklet tiled, “A Rainbow of Flavors: Hiram Walker’s CORDIALS.” Some photos and advertising language inside the little pocket brochure. 12 panels of mixed drink recipes. Great piece of bar ware / bartender guide history. Brown stains to one panel. Scarce booklet for bartender reference after prohibition was revoked. Not dated.
