    Description

    A nice example of a
    excavated
    1 piece Civil War period Confederate cast pewter Infantry "I" button with the shank intact.   Albert# CS-185-TY.    Backmark is blank as expected.  This dug button has a very pleasing rich gray patina, a very attractive example.  Button measures 22.35mm.
