Deagan 1504(?) Flat Top Bells/Glockenspiel - 1", 2.5 octaves G-C - missing 2 bar

Description

This is an unlabeled glockenspiel / orchestra bells in a folding case. I believe is a Deagan Special model 1504 "Flat Top Bells". I am also selling a Deagan 1528 and this one has many features that are identical, including the dimensions of the case, the stamps on the bars, the location of the clasps, and the style of rails. This model is distinguished from the 1528 with a different bar thickness and length, a different type of post, and different plating. It was probably made in the 1910s or 1920s.
The bars are generally in good shape, with minimal pitting and scratches. The low G and A are missing, which are the bars that would indicate the model number. The bars are exactly 1" wide and 1/4" thick. The low G# is 7 3/4" long and the high C is 3 1/4" long.
The case is in rough shape and will need extensive repair. Many of the joints are loose. There are many chips. Some screws are missing. There are no support blocks or retaining bar for the upper manual. The handle is missing. The case is 24 1/2" long.
