marmalade jar set
in the crystal
CAPE COD
pattern. The
CAPE COD
pattern was produced by
IMPERIAL GLASS CO.
from Bellaire, Ohio.
IMPERIAL
was one of the most famous glass houses in America.
IMPERIAL
produced hundreds of patterns. Among the many patterns there was
CAPE COD
. Crystal
CAPE COD
was introduced during the year of 1930 and it was still produced during the 80s. Here we have a very nice
covered marmalade jar (NO. 160/89 ) with a spoon and an under plate
.
The jar has a round shape with flared sides.  It is flat. The jar has a height of aprox. 4 inches.  The plate has a diameter of aprox. 5 inches.  The marmalade comes with a plastic spoon/ladle.  I do not know if the plate or spoon are original to the set.  I bought it as a set so I am selling it as a set.  This set gorgeous piece is in excellent shape and it is free of chips, cracks, nicks, flaws or flakes.
