    Description

    Offered for your consideration is series of three  beautiful high relief Art Nouveau tiles from the German manufacturer, North German Earthenware Factory (N.S.T.G.), Grohn, circa 1895-1910.  Each tile is approximately 6 inches square.  Unmarked.  These tiles are identical to ones illustrated on page 44 in Ken Forster’s book “Tiles & Styles—Jugendstil & Secession: Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts Design in German and Central European Decorative Tiles, 1895-1935,"  240 pp., copyright 2015.
    Condition: All three tiles are in very good condition.  All three have overall crazing.  Rough edges to one tile.  See photographs for additional details.
