".  This copy is a "
Third Edition (Revised)
; Fourth Printing, April 1974".  It was written by George Turner and was published and copyrighted in 1964 by Trans-Anglo Books of Corona Del Mar, California.  The Foreword states that the Carson & Pacific, "boasted precious little in the way of new equipment.  After 1885, all of its motive power and rolling stock were of 'hand-me-down' variety.  The line was never completed and realized only half of its intended trackage."  It was located on both sides of the Nevada/California border.  The book is well illustrated with photographs, line drawings, rosters or maps.  No contents page or index.  The pictures above show the
actual
front cover without the plastic cover and both with the cover, the inside front and back covers and eight other pages.  The book has a hard  cover with a paper and a plastic dust jacket, measures 8-3/4 by 11-1/4 by 1/2 inches and is 103 pages long.  It was originally listed on Ebay for .
