  • Condition: This is a child's stairstep Xylophone. It's a full octave range (8 whole notes). The tone bars are tuned perfectly, and the instrument is in perfect pitch. It has been gently used, but it has many decades of use remaining in it. It's clean and looks very very good too. There is only a tiny bit of paint loss from play. The tone bars are perfectly pitched, as previously said, with only a tiny bit of paint loss from being played. The felt is excellent. Structurally this instrument is excellent. I have provided many high resolution photos for you to zoom in and check every detail. The last 4 photos have the respective measurements for this child's instrument.

    Description

    This Child's instrument is from the 1950's. It's in great conditon, and it looks very very good. I hope you will zoom in to all the many provided photos.   It also plays easily.  In addition, the pitch and tone of every key is very much in tune. The keys are large enough to allow small (or large) hands to strike the keys dead center. The supporting leg folds down for storage and folds up for playing. It is very stable in its playing orientation. As stated earlier, the tone bars are in perfect pitch. I have checked them with my piano tuner. But in addition to that, they ring beautifully and have a very long and extended tone.
